Shift At Midnight Night 13: All 13 Nights & Endless Mode
Reach Shift At Midnight Night 13 with this night-by-night survival overview, then see what unlocks after the finale and how Endless Mode changes the run.
How Story Mode is built
The 13 nights are procedurally varied — layouts, customer counts, and trap spawns shift each run — but they follow a difficulty curve. The game teaches one system per phase, then stacks them. Expect the same types of nights in the same order, never the same night twice.
| Phase | Nights | What's introduced |
|---|---|---|
| Tutorial | 1–2 | Restock, scan, first ID check |
| Pressure | 3–5 | Boarding, traps, first breaches |
| Detection | 6–8 | Mic awareness, camera reliance |
| Convergence | 9–11 | Multiple copies at once |
| Finale | 12–13 | The Manager, the escape |
Night-by-night节奏
- Night 1–2 — Pure orientation. Profit and learn the floor. Don't skip the scanner practice.
- Night 3 — First boarding prompt. Stock planks before midnight.
- Night 5 — Upgrade bench unlocks. Prioritize entrances.
- Night 7 — Doppelganger count jumps. Trust the database, not your gut.
- Night 9 — Two copies can arrive back-to-back. Keep one window watched.
- Night 12 — The Manager appears. He is not a normal customer.
- Night 13 — The finale. Perfect ID work all night; one slip can flip the ending.
Key decisions that matter
A few choices echo across the whole run:
- Deny early, apologize later. Wrong approvals are permanent; wrong denies are not.
- Flip the breaker on night 2. Lighting pays for itself.
- Upgrade entrances before pets. Defense scales better than a companion.
- Hoard one trap for the back room. That's where the worst spawns.
None of these are obvious the first time. They're why a second run is always easier than the first.
Endless Mode and the leaderboard
Clear night 13 and Endless Mode opens. It keeps the same station but removes the script:
- Difficulty escalates every cycle, not every night.
- Your longest streak is what the leaderboard records.
- Progression is permanent — upgrades you bought carry forward, so plan a build: entrance-heavy for safety, or trap-heavy for score.
Endless is where the community compares notes. A 20-cycle run is respectable; the top of the board is reserved for teams that never let the lights die. If you want the Secret Ending instead, read the solo/endings guide — it branches off the finale, not Endless.
